Once a curious and reserved Foxian, Huǒyàn grew up aboard one of the Xianzhou's great ships, training as a culinarian and using her fire abilities in cooking. Seeking to expand her skills, she traveled to Penacony, where an experiment with Halovian scientist Titor went awry, hurling them both into another world... Etheirys.

Her Arrival On Etheirys . . .

Arriving in Ilsabard, they were taken in by Garleans under unique circumstances. Titor was adopted by the Celerus family, while Huǒyàn was taken in by Albus bas Fuscina, an aging fishing magnate who renamed her Sovris. With no children of his own, Albus saw in her a chance to preserve his legacy. Though raised with love, Sovris remained an outlander in Garlemald’s rigid society.Excelling in fishing yet drawn to technology, Sovris struggled with both societal scorn and a heart condition that hindered her physically. Frustrated, she often vanished for days, leading Albus to suggest she turn her skills to espionage. Taking his advice, she joined the Frumentari, spending a decade honing her abilities.

Becoming The Data Striker . . .

To enhance herself, Sovris gradually replaced her body with cybernetic augments, becoming a feared operative known as the Data Striker. Eventually, she sought out Tertius, now a powerful figure in the Citadel Project. Proving her worth, she underwent further augmentation, sacrificing 80% of her body - including her limbs and spine - to become Citadel 71, an elite stealth unit.Now, no terminal, machine, or person is beyond the reach of her steel claws…

A Newly Crafted Dullahan . . .

During a mission with her Free Company, Sovris saved her partner's life by taking an attack for him that resulted in losing her head. She was recovered by her partner and brought to Interlude Labs by Citadel agents, and with quantum entanglement, her mind synchronized with her body, leading Interlude to recreate Sovris into a living, cybernetic Dullahan.She can see, taste, smell and hear things as she would have if she still had her head attached to her body. The Foxian remains expressive through her body language, as well as flickering colored lights and black smoke emanating from the ringlets.
